Global Credit Transactions
Global Credit Transactions
Purpose
Global credits power email validation and placement tests. They're shared across your entire organization — not per team. This article explains how to view your balance, read the transaction history, and understand what consumes credits.
Prerequisites
- Org admin role (required to access Admin)
Where to Find It
- Click Admin in the organization-level navigation.
- Open the Global Credit Transactions tab.
If you don't see Admin, you don't have org admin permissions.
What the Page Shows
At the top:
- Available credits — How many credits you can still use (plan allocation minus what's been used).
- Plan — Total credits included in your subscription.
- Used — Credits consumed so far.
Below that, a table of transactions:
Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
Date | When the transaction occurred |
Item | What used the credit: Email Verification, Placement Test Seed, or Global Credit |
Type | Credit (added) or Debit (consumed) |
Amount |
|
Description | Optional note (e.g., placement test name, validation batch) |
Transactions are paginated. Use the controls at the bottom to move through pages.
What Consumes Credits
Action | Cost |
|---|---|
Email validation | 1 credit per email address validated |
Placement tests | Credits per test (depends on number of seed addresses) |
Both pull from the same global pool. If you run low, reduce validation volume, run fewer placement tests, or purchase additional credits (contact SuperSend or upgrade your plan).
Reading the Numbers
- Available = Plan − Used (cannot go negative; at zero you can't validate or run placement tests).
- Credit (green) — Credits were added (e.g., plan allocation, purchase, promo).
- Debit (red) — Credits were spent (validation, placement test).
If you see unexpected debits, check the Item and Description columns to see what triggered them.
When Credits Run Out
If available credits reach zero:
- Email validation requests will fail.
- Placement tests won't run.
- Campaigns continue to send — validation and placement tests are optional tools.
To get more: Contact SuperSend or upgrade to a plan with a higher credit allocation. Billing → Plan shows your current usage.
Expected Result
You know where to view global credits, how to read the transaction table, and what actions consume credits. You can monitor usage and avoid surprises.
