Billing Overview
Billing Overview
Purpose
The Billing section controls your subscription plan, payment methods, and purchase history. This article explains what each billing tab does so you can find what you need without navigating blindly.
Navigate to Billing
Go to Billing in the organization-level navigation (not the team sidebar). This opens /org/billing.
Billing requires org admin permissions. If you don't see the Billing link, contact your organization's admin.
Billing Tabs
Plan
This is where you see your current subscription and make changes to it.
What it shows:
- Your current plan name, price, and billing interval (monthly or annual).
- Your next billing date.
- Usage metrics for each plan dimension: email senders, LinkedIn senders, Twitter senders, contacts, emails per month, global credits, domains, and mailboxes. Each shows how much you've used vs. your plan limit, with a usage bar.
SuperSend sells custom enterprise plans. Self-serve tiers such as Growth and Scale are no longer offered to new customers. Plan limits and pricing are set during onboarding with the SuperSend team.
To change your plan or core limits:
Contact your SuperSend account contact or book a demo. Most enterprise plan changes are not self-serve.
Add-ons and billing interval (where enabled on your contract):
- Click Manage Plan to enter edit mode.
- Toggle between Monthly and Annual billing if your contract supports both (annual saves 15%).
- Adjust add-ons (extra senders, LinkedIn seats, etc.) if available on your plan.
- Click Save.
To cancel:
Click Manage Plan → Cancel Plan. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
To reactivate after cancellation: A Reactivate button appears if your plan was canceled but the period hasn't ended yet.
Team Usage
A single view that combines measured SuperSend usage and cost allocation with optional client COGS: per-team email volume, senders, contacts, credits, domains, mailboxes, infrastructure cost, SuperSend-allocated dollars, plus any BYO infrastructure and tools & enrichment costs you add. Use Manage Cost Items to enter costs outside SuperSend. You can Export usage CSV (SuperSend allocation only) or Export COGS CSV (full combined report). (Per-team revenue and margin in the app are planned for a later release.)
Domains & Mailboxes
Where you purchase domains and mailboxes through SuperSend's infrastructure.
Domains sub-tab: View domains purchased through SuperSend. Click Add Domain to open the mailbox purchase drawer and buy new domains.
Mailboxes sub-tab: View mailboxes purchased through SuperSend's provisioning. Click Add Mailbox to purchase additional mailboxes.
Both actions open the same purchase drawer (Buy Mailboxes) where you specify how many domains/mailboxes you want, choose your email provider (Google, Outlook, SMTP), configure settings, and complete checkout.
Payment Methods
Add, view, and manage billing details and payment methods used for your subscription and purchases.
The top card lets org admins update the billing email, company / legal name, invoice address, and tax ID used for Stripe billing records and invoices. Updating the billing email here does not change anyone's login email.
If your subscription is in incomplete status (payment hasn't been collected yet), this tab also shows a payment setup form where you enter your card details and billing address.
Otherwise, it shows your saved payment methods with options to add a new card or remove an existing one.
Purchases
A history of one-time purchases made through SuperSend: domain purchases, mailbox purchases, and add-ons. Each row shows the purchase type, date, and amount.
Invoices
All invoices from your Stripe subscription. Each invoice shows the billing date, amount, and a download link for the PDF.
How Global Credits Work
Global credits are consumed by email validation and placement tests. They're a shared pool across your organization, not tied to individual teams.
View your credit balance: Admin → Global Credits tab. Shows current balance and full transaction history.
Purchase more credits: If you run low, contact the SuperSend team or upgrade to a plan with higher credit allocation.
Expected Result
You can navigate to the correct billing tab for any billing task: viewing current plan usage, changing your plan, adding a payment method, or downloading an invoice.
Troubleshooting
- Issue: Billing tab is not visible in the navigation.
Fix: You need org admin permissions. Ask your organization's admin to grant access or make the change on your behalf.
- Issue: Plan change option is unavailable.
Fix: Confirm you have org admin permissions and a payment method on file. Core plan changes require contacting the SuperSend team — self-serve tier selection is not available for enterprise customers.
- Issue: Usage shows higher than expected.
Fix: Check the Team Usage tab to see which team is consuming the most. Each metric there links to the relevant team view.
