Change Subscription Plan
Change Subscription Plan
Purpose
Update add-ons, billing interval, or cancel your SuperSend subscription. Core enterprise plan changes are handled with the SuperSend team.
Prerequisites
Org admin permissions and a payment method on file.
Navigate to Plan Settings
Go to Billing → Plan tab. The current plan card shows your plan name, price, billing interval, and next billing date.
Change Add-ons or Billing Interval
If your contract allows self-serve add-on or interval changes:
- Click Manage Plan. The plan card enters edit mode.
- Toggle between Monthly and Annual if both are available on your contract (annual billing saves 15%).
- Adjust add-ons (extra email senders, LinkedIn senders, etc.) where shown.
- Review the new price and what changes in your plan limits.
- Click Save. A Confirm dialog opens before anything is charged.
What the Confirm dialog shows
- Subscription breakdown — Itemized lines for your plan, add-ons (LinkedIn, X, extra senders, etc.), mailboxes, and domains, plus a total recurring amount (monthly or yearly). Domains are priced per year; the dialog also shows a monthly equivalent so the total matches what you see on the Plan tab.
- Right now — The amount that will be charged today for add-on changes. Add-ons are prorated: if you add something mid-cycle, you pay only for the days left in the current period, not a full month. Stripe line items (e.g. “Remaining time on…”) may be listed here. If you change billing period (monthly ↔ annual) at the same time, an additional prorated charge for that may appear separately on your receipt.
- From next billing forward — Your total recurring charge after this change (same figures as the itemized table).
If Stripe’s live preview isn’t available, the dialog still shows an estimated prorated charge based on your billing cycle dates and add-on price change.
The change takes effect immediately after you confirm. If downgrading add-ons, the lower limit applies immediately; refunds for unused time follow Stripe’s normal behavior.
Change Your Core Plan or Limits
SuperSend no longer sells self-serve Growth or Scale tiers. New customers receive custom enterprise plans scoped on a sales call.
To change sending volume limits, infrastructure tier (SuperSend Relay, Mission Inbox Direct), or overall contract pricing:
- Contact your SuperSend account contact, or book a demo.
- Review current usage in Billing → Plan and Team Usage before the call.
- SuperSend updates your subscription after agreement; changes appear on the Plan tab.
Switch from Monthly to Annual
If your contract supports both intervals:
- Go to Billing → Plan → click Manage Plan.
- Toggle the billing period from Monthly to Annual.
- Click Save.
Switching to annual bills you for a full year upfront at the discounted rate. The remaining monthly balance is credited toward the annual charge.
Cancel Your Plan
- Go to Billing → Plan → click Manage Plan.
- Click Cancel Plan.
- Confirm the cancellation.
Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. After that, access will be restricted. Your data is retained but campaigns will stop sending.
To reactivate a canceled plan before the period ends, click Reactivate from the Plan tab.
Expected Result
Your subscription reflects agreed changes. Add-on updates appear immediately; core plan changes appear after SuperSend updates your contract.
Troubleshooting
- Issue: Manage Plan button is not available.
Fix: Confirm you have org admin permissions. Also ensure a payment method is on file — you can't change billing without a valid payment method.
- Issue: Plan appears unchanged after saving.
Fix: Refresh the page. If the issue persists, check for any payment error in the Payment Methods tab (the plan change may have been blocked by a failed payment authorization).
- Issue: I need a different plan tier but don't see Growth/Scale options.
Fix: Those tiers are no longer sold. Contact SuperSend or book a demo for a custom enterprise plan.
