How to Stop Emails from Being Sent to Contacts That Failed Email Validation

Super Send provides tools to prevent emails from being sent to unverified or invalid contacts. This ensures a low bounce rate and protects your sender reputation. Here’s how to manage contacts that failed email validation.

Step 1: Understand How Super Send Handles Unverified Contacts

Contacts marked as unverified will not receive emails.
If you re-upload a list with updated information, Super Send will automatically update existing contacts and deduplicate the list.

Step 2: Manage Unverified Contacts

Access the Contacts Page:
Navigate to the Contacts page in your Super Send account.
Click on Manage Contacts.

Options for Unverified Contacts:

Delete Unverified Contacts:
Use the delete option to permanently remove unverified contacts from your list.

Unverify All Failed Leads:
Click the button to unverify all leads that failed email validation.

Step 3: Adjust Your Strategy

Re-upload with Updated Information:
If you’ve gathered additional details about your Contacts, upload the updated list. Super Send will deduplicate and update the contact information automatically.

Review Strict Validation Settings:
Super Send’s email validator is intentionally strict to minimize bounce rates. However, this may result in some good contaqcts being excluded. Evaluate if you need to adjust your approach to validation.

Benefits of Strict Email Validation

Low Bounce Rates:
Only validated and reliable email addresses are used, improving deliverability.

Better Sender Reputation:
Reduced bounce rates contribute to a positive reputation with email service providers.

Cleaner Contact Lists:
Unverified contacts are managed effectively, keeping your lists accurate and up-to-date.

By managing unverified contacts in Super Send, you ensure your campaigns are efficient and maintain high deliverability. If you have further questions, reach out to Super Send support for guidance.
