Configure Campaign Schedule and Sending Hours

Configure Campaign Schedule and Sending Hours

Purpose

SuperSend only sends emails during the windows you define. By default campaigns send Monday through Friday, 9am–5pm, in the campaign timezone. This article explains how to configure the schedule to match your recipients' business hours and your team's operational preferences.

Navigate to Schedule Settings

  1. Open a campaign.
  2. Click Settings (gear icon in the campaign header).
  3. In the settings sidebar, click Schedule.

Settings Available

Timezone

The timezone that all schedule settings are evaluated against. SuperSend auto-detects your browser timezone when you first set up a campaign, but you should always verify it.

This is the sending timezone — not your timezone. If you're targeting US prospects, set this to US Eastern or US Pacific regardless of where your team is located.

Send on These Days

Seven checkboxes, Monday through Sunday. Check the days you want sends to go out. Default: Monday through Friday checked, Saturday and Sunday unchecked.

For most B2B outbound, Mon–Fri works best. Weekend sends typically get lower engagement and may flag as suspicious for deliverability.

Sending Hours

A time range: "Between [start time] and [end time]." Default: 09:00–17:00.

SuperSend will only queue and send emails within this window. Any contacts due for a send outside this window are held until the window opens again.

Add Another Schedule

Lets you add a second time window within the same days. For example: 09:00–12:00 and 14:00–17:00 (skipping midday). Click + Add Another Schedule at the bottom of the schedule settings to add a window.

You can delete a secondary window by clicking the trash icon next to it. The first window can't be deleted — only modified.

Example Configurations

Standard US B2B outbound:

  • Days: Mon–Fri
  • Hours: 09:00–17:00
  • Timezone: America/New_York (or America/Los_Angeles if targeting West Coast)

Multi-timezone targeting:

SuperSend doesn't support multiple timezone schedules per campaign — it uses a single timezone. If you're targeting prospects in both EST and PST, pick a timezone that works for both (e.g., 10:00–16:00 EST hits 7am–1pm PST, reasonable overlap) or split into two campaigns.

International outreach to EMEA:

  • Days: Mon–Fri
  • Hours: 08:00–16:00
  • Timezone: Europe/London (or CET for central Europe)

How Schedule Interacts with Send Volume

The schedule limits when sends happen, not how many. Daily limits are controlled separately:

  • Per-mailbox daily limits: set in sender settings (Senders → Mailboxes → gear icon on a mailbox).
  • Campaign-level daily cap: Campaign Settings → Sending Rules → Campaign Daily Limit.

If your schedule window is 09:00–17:00 (8 hours) and your daily limit across all senders is 200 emails, SuperSend distributes those 200 emails throughout the 8-hour window rather than all at once.

Expected Result

Your campaign only sends during your configured days and time windows, in the correct timezone, with no sends on weekends or outside business hours.

Troubleshooting

  • Issue: Campaign is active but not sending right now.

Fix: Confirm the current time is inside your sending window, in the campaign's timezone. A campaign set to US Eastern time at 7pm won't send — it's outside the 09:00–17:00 window.

  • Issue: Lower than expected send volume.

Fix: Check both the schedule (window too narrow?) and the per-mailbox daily limits. If a 4-hour sending window is set but each mailbox is also limited to 20 emails/day, volume will be low regardless of schedule width.
