Buying Domains and Mailboxes in SuperSend

Buying Domains and Mailboxes in SuperSend

Purpose

You can purchase domains and mailboxes directly in SuperSend — no external registrar or provider required. This article walks through the full flow: where to go, what you're buying, and what happens after you complete the purchase.

Use the Senders flow below for every new purchase. It keeps domain and mailbox setup in one guided path. Other entry points exist for billing and management, but they are not the recommended way to buy.

When to Buy In-App vs Connect Your Own

Buy in SuperSend when you want:

  • A new domain for sending (e.g., outreach.yourbrand.com or a fresh domain)
  • Mailboxes hosted on that domain (e.g., sarah@outreach.yourbrand.com)
  • SuperSend to handle DNS, provisioning, and setup automatically

Connect your own domain when you already have a domain and want to use SuperSend to send from it. See Domain Setup and DNS Checklist for that flow (start from SendersMailboxesAdd MailboxesConnect Your Own Mailboxes).

This is the path you should use to purchase new domains, new mailboxes, or both.

  1. Go to SendersMailboxes.
  2. Click Add Mailboxes (top right).
  • If the Mailboxes tab is empty, you can also click Buy Domains & Mailboxes (recommended) on the empty state — it opens the same side panel.
  1. A side panel opens (Add MailboxesChoose how you want to add email senders.).
  2. Click Buy Domains & Mailboxes (purchase new domains and mailboxes; SuperSend handles setup).
  3. Continue through the steps: domain and mailbox details, review, and checkout as prompted.

On that first screen, the other options are for different goals: Connect Your Own Mailboxes (Gmail, Outlook, SMTP, or bulk providers) and Bulk Import via CSV. Use those when you are not buying new domains or mailboxes in-app.

Other entry points (management and less common paths)

You can also reach purchases or inventory from billing and the Domains tab — useful for reviewing what you already own or adding mailboxes to an existing purchased domain without going through Add Mailboxes first:

  1. BillingDomains & Mailboxes — Summary, Buy Domains, Add Mailbox, and billing context.
  2. SendersDomainsBuy Domains in the empty state or toolbar; on a domain row, + Add (when the domain has fewer than 5 mailboxes) opens the mailbox purchase flow.

Prefer SendersMailboxesAdd MailboxesBuy Domains & Mailboxes whenever you are onboarding new sending capacity so the full setup stays in one place.

Buying a domain (after you choose Buy Domains & Mailboxes)

  1. Follow the in-app steps to enter the domain(s) you want, review pricing, and confirm.
  2. SuperSend registers the domain (or purchases it from the registrar) and begins setup.
  3. Status shows PurchasingProcessingActive as DNS propagates.
  4. You can add mailboxes once the domain is Active or Processing.

Domain statuses in Billing view: Processing, Active, Expired, Cancelled.

Adding mailboxes to a domain

Each domain supports up to 5 mailboxes. To add one:

Preferred: SendersMailboxesAdd MailboxesBuy Domains & Mailboxes, then follow the mailbox steps in the flow.

Alternatively: SendersDomains or BillingDomains & Mailboxes → find the domain → if it has fewer than 5 mailboxes, click + Add to open the Buy Mailboxes flow.

Enter the mailbox details: first name and last name are required for every mailbox (Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 need a display name), plus the email address (local part and domain). Review pricing and confirm.

Mailbox statuses: Processing, Active, Cancelled.

What happens after purchase

  • Domains: SuperSend handles nameservers and DNS. A processing banner appears while provisioning. When status is Active, the domain is ready to use.
  • Mailboxes: Each mailbox is provisioned and appears in SendersMailboxes. You add them to a sender profile and assign that profile to campaigns.

Managing your purchases

From BillingDomains & Mailboxes:

  • Sort domains by: Newest First, Oldest First, Domain Name (A–Z / Z–A), Status, Most/Fewest Mailboxes, Expires Soonest/Latest.
  • Sort mailboxes by: Newest First, Oldest First, Email, First Name, Last Name, Status, Admin first, Regular first.
  • Filter mailboxes by admin vs regular role.

Limits and costs

  • 5 mailboxes per domain — enforced at purchase time.
  • Pricing and billing depend on your plan. Check Billing Overview for current rates.
  • Next billing date and total cost are shown on the Domains & Mailboxes summary.
