Tasks in Super Send
Super Send allows you to create and manage tasks as part of your sequences, ensuring timely actions and follow-ups for your contacts. Here’s how tasks work and how you can effectively use them:
Adding a Task to Your Sequence
- Navigate to your sequence editor.
- Drag and drop a Task Node into the sequence.
- Configure the task details, such as the action required.
When a contact reaches the task node, a yellow triangle icon will appear, indicating that there is a task that needs attention.
Managing Tasks
- Filter by Has Task:
- Use the filter option "Has Task" to quickly locate contacts with pending tasks.
- View and Edit Tasks:
- Click Edit to view the details of the task.
- Mark the task as completed with or without adding a note.
- Event Tracking:
- Once a task is completed, it will be logged on the Events Page, providing a record of the action taken.
Best Use Cases for Tasks
Phone Calls:
- Schedule a phone call when a contact reaches a specific point in the sequence.
One-Off Actions:
- Assign unique tasks, such as sending personalized follow-ups or updating contact details.
Advancing the Sequence
After completing a task, the contact will automatically proceed to the next step in the sequence, ensuring a smooth workflow.
By incorporating tasks into your sequences, you can manage actions effectively and ensure no important steps are overlooked.
