Slack Integration Setup
Slack Integration Setup
Purpose
Connect SuperSend to Slack to get notifications when replies arrive, when contacts hit certain stages, or when campaigns need attention. This article explains how to set up the Slack integration and what you can receive.
What You Get With Slack
Typical notifications:
- New reply — When a contact replies to an email or LinkedIn message.
- Campaign events — Alerts when high-value events occur (e.g., meeting booked, interested).
- Operational alerts — When a campaign pauses, a sender disconnects, or similar.
Exact events depend on your SuperSend configuration. Check Integrations for available options.
How to Connect
- Go to Org → Integrations (or Settings → Integrations).
- Find Slack.
- Click Connect or Add.
- You'll be redirected to Slack to authorize. Choose the workspace and channel(s) where notifications should go.
- Authorize. SuperSend saves the connection.
- Configure which events to send (if the integration offers per-event toggles).
Choosing a Channel
You can send all notifications to one channel (e.g., #sales-replies) or configure different channels for different event types. If the integration supports it, set rules such as:
- Replies →
#inbox - Meeting booked →
#hot-leads - Campaign paused →
#ops-alerts
What Appears in Slack
Each notification typically includes:
- Contact name/email
- Campaign name
- Event type (reply, open, click, etc.)
- Link to the conversation in Super Inbox or the campaign
- Relevant snippet (e.g., reply preview)
Click through to SuperSend to take action.
Disconnecting
To stop Slack notifications:
- Go to Integrations.
- Find Slack → Disconnect (or equivalent).
- Confirm. Notifications stop.
You can also revoke the app in Slack: Slack → Settings → Integrations → manage SuperSend.
Best Practices
- Use a dedicated channel (e.g.,
#supersend-replies) to avoid noise. - Consider filtering by campaign or team if you have many.
- Combine with other tools (e.g., CRM sync) so replies trigger full workflows.
Expected Result
Slack is connected. You receive notifications in the chosen channel when the configured events occur. You can respond quickly from Super Inbox.
