How to Set Up Slack Notifications for Email Replies


Follow this guide to configure an Incoming Webhook in Slack to receive notifications whenever a prospect replies to an email sent via SuperSend. Once set up, paste the webhook URL into the appropriate field on the Integrations page in SuperSend.


Step 1: Create a New Slack App

  1. Visit the Slack API page to create a new app.
  2. Select From Scratch and:
  • Choose a name for your app.
  • Select the Slack workspace you want to use.
  1. Click Create App to proceed.


Step 2: Enable Incoming Webhooks

  1. In your app’s settings, locate Incoming Webhooks and toggle the feature ON (top right of the page).
  2. Click Add New Webhook to Workspace and:
  • Select the channel where you want notifications to appear.
  • Save your settings to generate a unique Webhook URL.
  1. Copy the Webhook URL provided.


Step 3: Configure Interactivity

  1. Enable interactivity for your app:
  • In the app’s settings, find the Interactivity section.
  • Enter the following URL in the Request URL field:
https://api.supersend.io/v1/slack-webhook
  1. Save your changes.


Step 4: Add the Webhook to SuperSend

  1. Navigate to the Integrations page in SuperSend.
  2. Paste the Webhook URL into the designated field.


Done!

Once configured, you’ll receive Slack messages whenever a prospect replies to an email. SuperSend automatically filters out auto-responses and bounce messages to keep your notifications clean and actionable.
