Multi-Account LinkedIn Usage


Purpose


A sender profile can hold exactly one LinkedIn account, plus any number of email mailboxes. You cannot add multiple LinkedIn accounts to a single sender profile. This article clarifies that design and how to scale when you need multiple accounts.


Why One LinkedIn Per Profile?


Sender profiles represent a single persona — the person recipients see when they get an email or LinkedIn request. To keep that consistent, each profile bundles one LinkedIn account with its mailboxes. Every touchpoint from a campaign assigned to that profile comes from that same identity.


The Correct Model


  • 1 sender profile = 1 LinkedIn + many email mailboxes
  • To use multiple LinkedIn accounts, create separate sender profiles — one per account
  • To scale a campaign, assign multiple sender profiles to the campaign. SuperSend then uses the combined pool of mailboxes and LinkedIn accounts


Example


You have 3 team members (Sarah, Mike, Jen), each with their own LinkedIn. You create 3 sender profiles:


  • Sarah → Sarah’s mailboxes + Sarah’s LinkedIn
  • Mike → Mike’s mailboxes + Mike’s LinkedIn
  • Jen → Jen’s mailboxes + Jen’s LinkedIn


To run a campaign that uses all three LinkedIn accounts, assign all three sender profiles to the campaign in Settings → Senders. SuperSend will distribute LinkedIn actions across the profiles’ accounts.


Adding LinkedIn to a Profile


  1. Go to Senders → Sender Profiles.
  2. Open the profile and click the settings icon.
  3. Open the Social Connections tab.
  4. Under LinkedIn, search for an available account and click Connect.


You can only connect one LinkedIn account per profile. If you select multiple, only the first is used (the UI will note this).


If You Need More LinkedIn Accounts


  1. Connect additional accounts at Senders → Social (Add LinkedIn).
  2. Create new sender profiles for each new account, or attach an unassigned account to an existing profile that doesn’t have one yet.
  3. Assign the profiles you need to your campaign.
