Mission Inbox Integration Setup
Mission Inbox Integration Setup
Purpose
Connecting Mission Inbox as an integration in SuperSend allows your team to import Mission Inbox mailboxes as senders and use Mission Inbox's OBM API for high-volume sending. This article covers the org-level connection, which is the prerequisite for any Mission Inbox sender setup.
What the Integration Enables
Once connected:
- Your Mission Inbox provisioned mailboxes can be bulk-imported into SuperSend as senders (instead of connecting each one manually via SMTP).
- Mission Inbox OBM API becomes available as a sending provider for high-volume email steps.
- Mission Inbox domains appear in your SuperSend domain management.
If you only need to connect a single Mission Inbox mailbox via SMTP (entering credentials manually), you don't need to set up this integration first. See Connect Mission Inbox Senders for that path.
Prerequisites
- A Mission Inbox account with at least one active domain or mailbox.
- Your Mission Inbox API key (found in Mission Inbox account settings).
- Org admin permissions in SuperSend.
Connect Mission Inbox
- Go to Admin → Integrations tab.
- Select your team from the dropdown.
- In the Sending Providers section, find MissionInbox.
- Click Manage → Add Account.
- Enter your Mission Inbox API Key.
- Click Save.
SuperSend will validate the API key and begin syncing your Mission Inbox account data. The sync pulls in your provisioned domains and mailboxes, which may take a minute or two.
After Connecting
Once connected, your Mission Inbox infrastructure is available in SuperSend:
To add mailboxes from Mission Inbox:
Go to Senders → Add Sender → Email Sender → Connect Your Own Mailboxes. You'll see Mission Inbox as an available provisioning source (or use the bulk SMTP connection). SuperSend will show your synced mailboxes from the Mission Inbox account.
To use Mission Inbox OBM API:
Go to Senders → Add Sender → Email Sender → Connect Your Own Mailboxes → find Mission Inbox OBM API in the Email API Providers section. Enter your API key and sending details.
See Connect Mission Inbox Senders for the full sender setup.
Expected Result
Mission Inbox is shown as connected in Admin → Integrations, and Mission Inbox mailboxes/domains are available in your SuperSend sender setup flows.
Troubleshooting
- Issue: API key saved but domains or mailboxes don't appear.
Fix: Verify the API key is correct by testing it directly in the Mission Inbox API documentation. Allow 1–2 minutes for the sync to complete, then refresh. If data still doesn't appear, ensure your Mission Inbox account has active provisioned mailboxes.
- Issue: Integration appears connected but senders can't be created.
Fix: The integration syncs domain/mailbox data, but creating senders requires going through the Senders → Add Sender flow. The integration alone doesn't auto-create senders in SuperSend.
