Google OAuth Setup for Super Send
Integrating your Gmail account with Super Send using OAuth enhances security and simplifies the connection process. Follow these steps to set up Google OAuth:
Navigate to Google's OAuth consent screen: Google OAuth Consent Screen.
Choose the User Type:
Internal: Allows anyone within your organization to connect their Gmail account to Super Send.
External (Test Mode): Manually specify up to 100 users permitted to use this authentication.
Add supersend.io as an authorized domain.
Manually add the following scopes:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.modify
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.labels
Go to the Credentials section.
Click Create Credentials and select OAuth client ID.
Configure the OAuth client ID:
Application Type: Web Application
Name: Choose a descriptive name.
Authorized JavaScript Origins: https://supersend.io
Authorized Redirect URIs: https://supersend.io/oauth/google
Download the JSON file containing your credentials.
Enable the Gmail API: Gmail API Enablement.
Log in to your Super Send account.
Navigate to the Admin page and select the Teams tab.
Click Edit on the desired team and upload the downloaded JSON file.
In Super Send, go to the Senders section.
Click Add Sender and select the option to connect via OAuth.
Follow the prompts to grant Super Send access to your Gmail account.
Test Users: To add more email accounts with a single OAuth setup, configure the app as external and add test users as needed.
Verification: After setup, send a test email to ensure everything is functioning correctly.
