Email Validation in Super Send

Email Validation in Super Send

Email validation is an essential feature included in all Super Send plans. It ensures that the email addresses in your contact list are accurate and ready for use. Here’s how email validation works and what it means for your campaigns.

How Email Validation Works

Automatic Validation:
All contacts with an email address that you upload to Super Send are automatically validated.

Strict Validation Process:
Super Send’s email validator is intentionally strict. However, you can choose to ignore the results if you’ve already validated your list using another tool.
Note: No email validator is 100% accurate.

Validation vs. Verification:
Validation: Ensures the email address is likely deliverable based on checks like syntax and domain status.
Verification (on the Contacts Page): Confirms the lead was imported correctly and is ready to send to.

Validation Outcomes

After validation, emails will be categorized into one of three outcomes:

Validated:
The email passed all validation checks and is ready for use.

Failed Validation:
The email did not pass validation checks and is likely undeliverable.

🤷 Uncertain:
The validator could not confidently determine the status of the email.

**What to Do with Validation Results**

These results are suggestions only. You are not required to take action based on them.

For ❌ or 🤷 emails:
Consider running additional checks using another validation tool if needed.
Use discretion based on your campaign’s goals and list quality.

Best Practices for Email Validation

Validate Your List Before Uploading:
If you’ve already run your list through another validation service, you may ignore Super Send’s validation results.

Focus on High-Quality Leads:
Use the validation results to prioritize sending to validated emails (✅).

Monitor Campaign Performance:
Track bounce rates and engagement to identify any issues with your contact list.

Super Send’s email validation is a helpful tool for maintaining clean and deliverable email lists. Use it as part of your overall email outreach strategy to maximize campaign success.
