Super Send supports the ability to use a custom tracking domain, enhancing your email deliverability and providing detailed metrics for your campaigns. Follow this guide to set up your custom tracking domain.
Why Use a Custom Tracking Domain?

How to Set Up a Custom Tracking Domain
- Choose a Subdomain:
- Select a subdomain for tracking purposes, such as
email.yourwebsite.com
orss.yourwebsite.com
.
- Create a CNAME Record:
- Access your DNS hosting provider (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap).
- Add a new CNAME record with the following details:
- Type: CNAME
- Host: The chosen subdomain (e.g.,
email
orss
). - Value:
trail.supersend.io
- Update Super Send Settings:
- Log in to your Super Send account.
- Navigate to the Settings page.
- Enter your custom tracking domain in the designated field.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
- Allow for DNS Propagation:
- DNS changes may take up to 5 minutes to propagate.
- Once propagation is complete, a confirmation message stating "Domain Is Setup" will appear.
- Enable Tracking in Campaigns:
- With the custom tracking domain configured, you can now enable tracking features within your campaigns.
Important Considerations
Avoid Conflicts:
- If you’re using other services, choose a unique subdomain that is dedicated to Super Send (e.g.,

) to prevent conflicts.
Link Tracking:
- To track clicks, ensure links are properly formatted. For example, in your spreadsheet, use:

This ensures that links are tracked automatically.
