Connect Maildoso Mailboxes

Connect Maildoso Mailboxes

Purpose

This article is for teams who use Maildoso to host email accounts and want to bulk-import those accounts into SuperSend as senders. You will get a personal access token from Maildoso, connect it in SuperSend, and add selected mailboxes in one flow.

Prerequisites

  • A Maildoso account with at least one active Maildoso email account to import.
  • Permission to add email senders in SuperSend (the Senders flow).
  • To save the token under AdminIntegrations first, you need permission to create team integrations (same as other sending-provider credentials).

Step 1: Get your token from Maildoso

Maildoso issues a personal access token for API access. SuperSend’s forms label this value Maildoso API Key — it is the same credential.

  1. Sign in to Maildoso.
  2. Open General settings in the Maildoso app: https://app.maildoso.com/settings/general.
  3. Create or copy your personal access token and keep it private.

If Maildoso’s UI also exposes the token under Settings → API Keys, you can use either path as long as the token you paste into SuperSend is current and has access to the accounts you want to import.

Step 2: Import mailboxes from Senders

  1. In SuperSend, go to Senders in the left sidebar.
  2. Click Add SenderEmail Sender.
  3. On the method screen, click Connect Your Own Mailboxes.
  4. Choose Maildoso (bulk-import mailboxes from your Maildoso account).

You will see Connect Maildoso with the short explanation: enter your Maildoso API key to import existing mailboxes as senders.

  1. Either:
  • Pick a Saved Maildoso connection if your org already stored a key, or
  • Choose Use a different API key, paste the token into Maildoso API Key, and optionally leave Save this key for future imports checked (shown when you have no saved connections yet).
  1. Click Connect Maildoso.

SuperSend validates the key and lists your Maildoso accounts. Unlike some other provisioning providers, Maildoso does not use a workspace step — you go straight from the key to the mailbox list.

  1. On Select Mailboxes to Import, select the mailboxes you want.
  2. Click Add N senders (the label reflects how many you selected; if none are selected, the button prompts you to select mailboxes).
  3. When you see Import Complete, click Done.

Imported accounts appear under SendersMailboxes. SuperSend uses Maildoso’s SMTP and IMAP endpoints for those senders.

Optional: Save the key in Admin first

Saving the token in the Integration Library lets teammates reuse it without re-pasting.

  1. Go to AdminIntegrationsIntegration Library tab.
  2. Select a team from the team dropdown (required to open the library).
  3. Optionally click Sending Providers to narrow the list.
  4. Find Maildoso and click Add.
  5. Enter the Maildoso API Key and complete the save flow in the panel.

After that, the Add Sender → Maildoso path can select that saved connection instead of a new key.

Expected Result

  • SendersMailboxes lists the imported Maildoso accounts.
  • The bulk-import success screen shows how many senders were added, skipped (already existed), or failed.

You still need to attach those mailboxes to a sender profile before using them in a campaign. See Create and Use Sender Profiles.

Troubleshooting

  • Issue: Connect Maildoso fails or shows an error when validating the key.

Fix: Confirm you copied the full token with no leading or trailing spaces. Generate a new token in Maildoso’s General settings if the old one was rotated or revoked.

  • Issue: Select Mailboxes to Import shows “No mailboxes found.”

Fix: In Maildoso, confirm you have active Maildoso email accounts. Inactive or non-Maildoso accounts may not appear in the list SuperSend receives.

  • Issue: Some rows Failed on the import summary.

Fix: Read the error text under Failed imports on the success screen. Fix the underlying mailbox or credential issue in Maildoso, then run the import again for the failed addresses.

  • Issue: Mailboxes imported but campaigns don’t send.

Fix: Open SendersSender Profiles, add the new mailboxes to a profile, and assign that profile to your campaign. See Senders Overview.
