# Pipedrive Integration Setup

# Pipedrive Integration Setup

## Purpose

Connect SuperSend to Pipedrive to sync contacts, map deals to campaigns, and keep your CRM updated when replies and outcomes happen. This article walks through the connection flow and typical use cases.

## What the Integration Does

- **Sync contacts** — Add Pipedrive contacts to SuperSend campaigns, or create Pipedrive contacts from SuperSend.
- **Sync outcomes** — When a contact replies, books a meeting, or is marked interested, update the corresponding Pipedrive deal or activity.
- **Two-way visibility** — See campaign status in Pipedrive and Pipedrive data in SuperSend (where supported).

Exact capabilities depend on the integration version. Check **Integrations** for current features.

---

## How to Connect

1. Go to **Org** → **Integrations** (or **Settings** → **Integrations**).
2. Find **Pipedrive**.
3. Click **Connect** or **Add**.
4. You'll be prompted for Pipedrive credentials — API token, OAuth, or similar. Get the token from Pipedrive: **Settings** → **Personal preferences** → **API** (or your Pipedrive admin).
5. Enter the token and authorize. SuperSend validates and saves the connection.
6. Configure mapping: which Pipedrive fields map to SuperSend contact fields, which campaigns sync to which pipelines/stages, etc.

---

## Field Mapping

When syncing contacts, map:

- **Email** — Required. Pipedrive contact email → SuperSend `email`.
- **First name, Last name** — For personalization.
- **Company** — Pipedrive org → SuperSend `company_name`.
- **Custom fields** — Map Pipedrive custom fields to SuperSend custom variables if needed.

---

## Syncing Outcomes to Pipedrive

When a contact hits an outcome (reply, meeting booked, interested):

1. SuperSend can create or update a Pipedrive activity, note, or deal stage.
2. Configure which events trigger which Pipedrive actions (e.g., "Reply" → add note, "Meeting booked" → move deal to "Meeting" stage).
3. Ensure the contact can be matched to a Pipedrive person/deal (usually by email).

---

## Validation

After connecting, test the integration:

- Add a contact from Pipedrive to a SuperSend campaign.
- Trigger a reply or outcome in SuperSend and confirm it appears in Pipedrive.

---

## Troubleshooting

- **Auth failed** — Regenerate the Pipedrive API token. Ensure it has the right scopes (deals, persons, activities, etc.).
- **Contact not found** — Email must match. Check for typos or different email formats.
- **Sync delay** — Some syncs are near real-time; others may batch. Check integration docs for expected latency.

---

## Expected Result

Pipedrive is connected. Contacts and outcomes flow between SuperSend and Pipedrive as configured. Your team has a single view of outreach status in the CRM.
